Sex Scandal, former IMF boss and waiter Hotel New York Peace Agree

New York - Former International Monetary Fund boss aka IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK) and a hotel maid in New York, the U.S. agreed to make peace. Both agreed to withdraw a lawsuit related to a sex scandal that shook the world last year.
The deal was announced in a brief hearing that was held in New York Supreme Court Judge Douglas McKeon. But unfortunately, the content of a peace agreement between the two sides kept confidential by the court.
But mention the name of the hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo, who was originally accused DSK of sexual harassment against him, was willing to repeal the law suit. As compensation, Diallo received compensation but did not mention how much.
While the DSK himself agreed to withdraw its proposed counterclaim against Diallo. Similarly, as reported by the Sydney Morning Herald, Tuesday (11/12/2012).
DSK himself did not attend the hearing because he was in Paris, France. But Diallo was present with his lawyer. The 33-year-old woman was wearing a green blouse with black trousers and a gray scarf tied to the alternate white head.
"I am grateful to all the people, I thank God," Diallo said after the trial.
"Diallo is a figure of a strong and courageous woman who never lost faith in the legal system of our country. With this solution, now he can continue his life and we are grateful to everyone who gave support and prayers to him," said Diallo lawyer, Kenneth Thompson .
Separately, DSK lawyers, William Taylor and Amit Mehta, who handled the case in New York welcomed the peace agreement between the two parties. "On behalf of Strauss-Kahn, we welcome this solution. We also thank Judge McKeon who patiently grant this deal happen," said they.
This agreement was to end the legal mess that ensnared DSK in New York. But the 63-year-old man is to face trial in his homeland, France. It is known that DSK allegedly involved in a prostitution ring that supplied prostitutes for sex parties and swinger clubs in some cities, such as Paris, Washington, Madrid, Vienna and Ghent, Belgium. Scheduled for hearing the case will be held on December 19 in Paris next.
DSK resigned from his position as director of the IMF in May 2011 after a sex scandal with Diallo sticking it to the public.
