Van Persie Satisfied Beat City


Manchester: United came out as the winner in the Manchester derby at Etihad Stadium. Dutch striker Robin van Persie was the hero wins the Red Devils. Van Persie's free kick in the minutes of added time to make MU came back with three points.

Van Persie said he was happy to help the Red Devils win the derby. "It's a really special place to end this match, with the results of the three points with a very dramatic way," said the former Arsenal player.

Not to forget the 29-year-old praised his team as a whole, especially Wayne Rooney. "We had a great start was really good as Rooney scored two goals to the good," Van Persie told Sky Sports.

"We work together in practice and I have no doubt he can score a goal from a corner like that. Now six points, because we were able to beat our closest rivals and therefore we are happy and celebrating," he added.

Tall player is also not surprised by the resistance City after falling two goals. "City has always surprised us coming back," he added.
