Vicente Del Bosque dedication to football rewarded with a lifetime achievement award some time ago. The man's 61 years working in the world of coaching for a quarter decade, beginning with the gush Real Madrid B before moving to the senior team and is now successful with the Spanish national team.
A series of prestigious trophy awarded Del Bosque managed, including the Champions League, World Cup and European Cup which confirms to be the only coach who won those titles.
"It makes me proud, it's an honor for me," he told AS.
"Football gives me everything. When the age of 16 I arrived in Madrid as a child of the area with dreams of being a footballer. Now, at the age of 61 years I can say that all dreams fulfilled, thanks for being able to be in two institutions unlucky Real Madrid and the Spanish Football Federation . "
When asked sweetest success ever achieved, Del Bosque did not pick the World Cup or European Cup.
"All the important trophy, but I really like the period is 16 years I spent as a youth team Real Madrid," he added.
"I can say it's incredible moments, unforgettable. We do not care about money or fame, we are only interested in bringing the player and person. Real Madrid is our life. I think we did a perfect job," said Luis Aragones's successor, La Furia Roja.
