Officials Mysterious Men Killed Afghan Women

Gunman killed a female business office in Afghanistan on Friday, only a few months after his predecessor was killed in a bomb blast, police said.


Nadia Sidiqi, director of the department of the field while the eastern province of Laghman women, were shot dead when two unknown men leave for work with a motorized rickshaw.


"We have done research and close the area where the attack will take place and quickly catch the perpetrators," said Laghman police chief, Ahmad Sherzad, told AFP.


Sidiqi take over the position of provincial director of women's affairs from Hanifa Safi, who died when a magnetic bomb affixed to his vehicle exploded in July.


There is currently no party that claimed responsibility for the attack on Monday, but the increase in killings by Taliban insurgents target used in their campaign against the rule of the Western-supported Kabul.


Hard-line Islamic group known for the brutal repression of women's rights during his reign from 1996 to 2001, when they were overthrown by US-led invasion.


Earlier this month a young woman who is still in school and health personnel killed cum shot as time runs out in the province of Kapisa keluargannya house, which is adjacent to Laghman.
