President Morsi Give Detention Army Related Rights Referendum
Cairo - President Mohamed Morsi gave the Egyptian army arrest authority and ordered to cooperate with the police until the outcome of the referendum this week, according to a decree obtained by AFP on Monday.
The decree, which appears in the official government newspaper under???? Law 107, issued ahead of a mass protest on Tuesday, rival consisting of the pro and anti Morsi referendum on the dispute.
The armed forces should support police work in cooperation to complete in order to maintain security and protect vital state institutions for the interim period, until the announcement of the results of Egypt's constitutional referendum, as the decree.
It follows weeks of street protests and violent clashes that resulted in seven deaths and hundreds injured.
The military, which ruled Egypt between periods since the ouster of former president Hosni Mubarak in February 2011 and Morsi election in June this year, seeks to remain neutral in the political crisis.
Tanks and troops since Thursday deployed around the presidential palace Morsi, but they have a confrontation on thousands of protesters who had gathered there every night.
