Worried dicatut, Adele Patented name
London: Adele rumored to register copyright name. As recently written newspaper The Sun, British singer 24-year-old has registered its name to the State Intellectual Property Office.
The media reported that Adele is worried about his name listed in a product he does not advertise.
"He does not want anyone to exploit his name by specifying the products that may deceive consumers Adele who thinks he may be involved in these products," said a source.
Copyright means can make Adele take legal action against anyone who uses the name of a product marketed without approval, such as perfume or jewelry.
Adele may learn from the experience of a number of fellow musicians. Beyonce Knowles, for example, had previously failed to register copyright the name of his daughter, Blue Ivy.
The singer and her husband Jay-Z welcomed the birth of their daughter last poada January 7 and shortly thereafter they filed through the company names his daughter Beyonce, BGK Trademark Holdings to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In the United States, parents are used to register the copyright on behalf of their children.
However, the submission of Beyonce and Jay-Z rejected after a Boston-based company has filed the name in 2009.
